Forge Bungalows, Great Barton

The Forge Bungalows project involved the renovation of a Grade II listed building—a row of four almshouses built in 1830 by Lady Louisa Bunbury for poor widows. The single-storey structure features a two-storey central porch and is constructed with a mix of flint and freestone blocks, white brick quoins, and slate roofs. Notable details include four canted bays with casement windows, a central porch with a hipped roof and Gothic style windows, and recessed entrance doors beneath a rounded arch. Each gable end has a small enclosed porch with a plank door in a rounded arch. The renovation preserved the building's historic character while adapting it for modern use.

The Lodge, Earl Stonham

This original Georgian Grade II listed property, believed to have been constructed in 1809 for a member of the Driver family of Deerbolt Hall, is a piece of history in need of restoration. Tragically, the property was severely damaged by fire, causing extensive destruction throughout. Currently, we are working on an ongoing project to restore the building to its former glory, with a strong commitment to preserving its original features and architectural charm. Our goal is to carefully restore the property while honoring its rich heritage and ensuring it remains a lasting testament to its historical significance.
